Full Day Hike: 35€

By request, from July to September

A short hike from the bus stop leads to Eileithyia Cave, where legend has it Hera gave birth to Eileithyia, the Goddess of Childbirth.

Get out of the hot Cretan sun into the cool embrace of this small cave. Explore and get the opportunity to find evidence of ancient offerings to the gods! Have some group social activities and some peaceful time for reflection and meditation.

From the cave we walk down to the beach where everyone will get time to lay in the sun, swim in the beautiful Mediterranean Sea as well as enjoy a beverage at the local beach bar. See the ruins

of a Venetian era villa and the Sanctuary of Zeus Thenatas dating back to around 1600 B.C.

After spending a few hours enjoying everything the beach has to offer, we hike another short distance to the arch of Boufos Cave along the coast for a great photo opportunity. We then start our walk back to the bus but the day wouldn’t be complete without a stop at the ruins of a Sea fort to watch the sunset from a unique spot that also allows for watching planes land.

Price includes transportation, 1 large bottle of water and small snack, 1 beverage at the beach bar + use of sunbeds.
